Zero to Hero Platform

Creator (Owner) manual — how to launch and run your own community

Version 1.1 · Updated: October 2026

1. Introduction

This manual is written for community creators and owners — people who launch their own community on the Zero to Hero platform and run the day-to-day. Inside, you'll learn how to:

  • Launch a community that combines courses, events, practice and mentoring in one place
  • Set up branding, domain and payment methods yourself
  • Sell courses to your members and collect membership fees
  • Run organizer-side tooling like email marketing, vouchers and reports
About this manual A separate manual exists for regular members and students. This document only covers the creator side — everything you'll see under the "Manage" area (the /manage/... routes).

1.1 What you need

  • An active user account (email + password). See the member manual for sign-up details.
  • If you'll accept international cards, a Stripe account; for Mongolian payments, QPay merchant credentials or a bank account.
  • Brand assets (logo, cover image, palette, story).

1.2 Creator workflow

  1. Pick a plan on the Pricing page in the marketplace.
  2. Run the 3-step community wizard.
  3. In the Manage area, prepare your landing, courses and practice library.
  4. Configure payment methods and publish the community.
  5. Grow your audience, ship new content, refine — the everyday work.
Creator workflow overview diagram
Figure 1.1 Creator workflow overview diagram
Tip The Manage area is web only. The mobile app supports the member-side experience only. Do your authoring on a computer.

1.3 Using mobile as a creator

Your own account works in the mobile app too — but only as a member of your community, not as its admin. There is no Manage surface on mobile at all: no products, orders, courses editor, members list, reports, or settings.

What that means day to day:

  • You can read Channels, watch your own Courses, do Practice, join Live Events, and message members — same as any member (see the member manual's mobile feature table).
  • Mentoring — you can view and reschedule sessions already booked with you, but you can't browse/manage your mentor roster from mobile.
  • Shop, AI Assistant, Testimonials, Blog — not on mobile yet, for members or creators. Members can take Mock Tests in the app, and share their referral link and see what communities owe them. Fulfilling orders, reviewing payouts, answering mock-test feedback requests and everything else stays web-only.
Note If you need to approve a payment, ship an order, or answer a member message that needs a longer reply, switch to a computer — mobile is for staying in the loop, not for running the community.

2. Start from the marketplace: pricing

The platform's pricing page is where you decide which plan to launch under. You can also jump straight into the wizard — but understanding the price, commission and domain options up front will save you from migrating plans later.

2.1 Opening the pricing page

  1. From the platform homepage (marketplace), click "Pricing" in the top nav — or go to /pricing directly.
  2. You'll see three plan cards (Advance / Growth / Unite).
  3. Clicking Get Started takes you to sign-up.

AI agent — Included Included
Teachers & revenue share — — Included
Referral program — Included Included
Support Email Priority Full

Every plan card also has a Monthly / Yearly billing toggle at the top of the pricing page — switching to yearly shows a discounted total and a "save X%" badge.

Which plan should I pick? Just trying it out, or running a single course? Start with Advance. Want your own website, shop, Practice/Mock Test library, and referral program with a clean brand? Growth. Need your own domain and a serious team? Unite. You can change plan from Settings at any time.

2.3 First month free

Every plan includes 30 days free. During the trial you can prepare your community, invite members and bring in your first revenue. After 30 days, the selected plan billing kicks in automatically.

Heads up You can cancel before the trial ends from Settings. If you don't, the chosen plan starts charging on the monthly schedule.
Trial reminder email 3 days before the trial ends, the owner receives an email (plus an in-app and push notification) titled "Your [community] trial ends in 3 day(s)" with a Choose a plan button that opens Settings → Plan. It is sent once per trial. A new community starts its trial on the Advance plan, so Practice, Mock Test and the AI agent stay off until you upgrade.

3. Create a community (3-step wizard)

After choosing a plan (or directly), click "Create community" — or visit /create. The wizard has 3 steps with a progress indicator (1/3, 2/3, 3/3) at the top of every step.

Wizard landing screen
Figure 3.0 Wizard landing screen

3.1 Step 1 — Basic info

The most important step. Everything here can be edited later — but the slug (URL) deserves real thought, because it becomes part of your community's address.

  1. Community name — Example: "CodeCraft Academy". (required)
  2. URL slug — lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only. Minimum 4 characters. The resulting URL depends on your plan:
    • Advance: zerotohero.mn/c/your-slug
    • Growth: your-slug.zerotohero.community
    • Unite: attach your own custom domain from Settings later.
  3. Category — pick a pill. Used for marketplace filtering.
  4. Description — a 1–2 sentence pitch. Shown in marketplace listings.
  5. Continue moves you to the next step.
Step 1 — Basic info
Figure 3.1 Step 1 — Basic info
About the slug Pick it carefully — once chosen, changing it will break existing links. Short, distinctive and easy to type in English works best.

3.2 Step 2 — Feature overview

Nothing to fill in here. This step is a card-style showcase of the modules you'll get automatically:

  • 📰 Feed — combined post stream
  • 📚 Courses — course module
  • 📅 Events / Calendar — live sessions, calendar
  • 💬 Channels — forum/chat channels
  • 🏆 Leaderboard — activity ranking
  • 📰 News — official announcements
  • 📊 Analytics — reports
  • 🎟️ Vouchers — discount codes
Step 2 — Feature overview
Figure 3.2 Step 2 — Feature overview

Click Continue to reach the revenue step.

3.3 Step 3 — Revenue model

The most detailed step. It has several blocks:

3.3.1 30-day free trial notice

An amber banner at the top — "🎉 Free for the first month". During this window you can use all features without being charged.

3.3.2 Currency picker

  • Main currency — required. Pick from MNT, USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, JPY, KRW, CNY. All prices are denominated in this currency by default.
  • Secondary currency — optional. Useful if you also want to show prices in (say) USD to international members.
Currency picker block
Figure 3.3 Currency picker block

3.3.3 Membership type (Free vs Paid)

Two cards:

  • 🌍 Free community — joining is free. You can still sell individual courses, bookings and tips.
  • 🔐 Paid membership — members pay a fixed monthly / quarterly / yearly subscription to join.

3.3.4 Free community add-ons

If you pick "Free" you'll see these toggles:

  • Free + Paid courses — sell both free and paid courses
  • Free + Paid bookings — mentoring time slots
  • Free tips — let members tip you

3.3.5 Paid membership billing

If you pick "Paid", three period cards appear — Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly. Toggle each one on; for every enabled period you fill in:

  • Price in the main currency (required)
  • Price in the secondary currency, if configured

Badge cues: Popular (monthly), Best value (yearly).

Paid add-ons also appear below:

  • Paid courses — sell courses on top of membership
  • Paid bookings — paid mentoring sessions
Subscription periods and price inputs
Figure 3.4 Subscription periods and price inputs

3.3.6 "What happens next" block

A violet-bordered block listing the 4 things that happen after you launch: redirected to Manage, prepare landing, set up payments, add courses.

3.3.7 Terms acceptance

At the bottom there's a short 5-bullet platform terms box. Until you check "I accept", the Launch button stays disabled.

3.4 Launch & what's next

  1. Once everything's valid, click "🚀 Launch community".
  2. Wait a few seconds — the backend provisions your tenant schema, seeds the default categories and creates a starter landing.
  3. On success you're redirected to Manage Overview at /c/your-slug/manage.
  4. At this point your community is in Draft mode — not visible to the public yet.
Tip If you entered a cover image or hero headline in step 1, the cover image is saved to Brand and the headline becomes your home page's banner headline. You can change the cover under Brand and type a new headline straight on the home page (22).

4. Overview dashboard

When you first enter the Manage area at /manage, you land on the Overview dashboard.

4.1 Status banner & publishing

A color-coded UAlert at the top:

  • 🟢 Live — community is public and listed in the marketplace.
  • 🟡 Draft — not published. Only you and your authenticated staff can see it.
  • 🔵 Trialing — in the 30-day trial window. You can still be Live during trial.

When Live, the banner exposes an "Unpublish" button that returns to Draft (member data is preserved).

4.2 Onboarding checklist

This card is the central tool while you're in Draft. It contains:

  • A progress counter (e.g. 3/5 complete)
  • Each item shown as ✅ (done, strike-through) or ⭕ (pending)
  • A yellow "Required" badge on items that must be done before publishing
  • A "Setup" link button that jumps to the relevant editor

Typical checklist items:

  1. Community created — auto-checked by the wizard.
  2. Add cover image — see Brand → Images.
  3. Add a payment method — Required for paid communities. See Payments → Methods.
  4. Publish at least one course — recommended.

The big "Publish" button at the bottom is enabled only once all Required items are ✅. If anything is missing you'll see "Complete required items" or a publish error in red.

4.3 Stat cards

A 4-card grid (4 columns on xl, 2 on sm):

  • Active Members — currently active (paid / free) members vs. total.
  • Published Courses — public courses vs. draft+published total.
  • Active Enrollments — currently-valid enrollment count.
  • Revenue / currency — this month + last month. With multiple currencies, each gets its own card (never summed across currencies).

4.4 Pending approvals card

A small card at the bottom:

  • If nothing's pending → ✅ "All up to date".
  • Otherwise → "N pending approvals" + "Go to approvals" button → jumps to Payments → Approvals.

Figure 4.2 Onboarding checklist — what to finish before publishing
Tip Only Required items block Publish. Non-required ✅s are still worth checking off — they shape a visitor's first impression of your community.

5. Brand

/manage/landing, Brand in the sidebar. This screen holds what follows your community everywhere — its website, the marketplace and the app: images, colours, theme, social links and membership pricing. Save changes is in the top bar.

Note Your home page's content (banner text, story, about, video, FAQ and other sections) is not edited here. Every community's home page is a page made of sections, edited in Website — see 22. Website builder. Communities created before this change had their old landing page content moved into that home page.

5.1 Community images

At the very top, four image fields:

  • Cover image — the large banner at the top of the landing. 16:9 recommended.
  • Logo — used in the marketplace, nav, sharing. Small square/round.
  • Owner avatar — your photo. Shown in the story section.
  • Background image — optional hero background.

Drag-and-drop or click to upload. Each image saves immediately on upload.

Community images upload card
Figure 5.1 Community images upload card

5.2 Brand colors

Two color pickers:

  • Primary color — the dominant color on buttons, badges, active links. Choose from 7 presets (violet, pink, orange, amber, green, blue, slate) or enter a custom hex.
  • Secondary color — accent/highlight color. Custom picker.

Your colors apply across the landing, the member area and the mobile app — and you can verify with Preview instantly.

5.3 Social links

Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube URLs. Leave any blank to hide that icon.

5.4 Membership pricing

The very bottom of the Brand screen contains a Membership sub-editor — same data as the standalone Membership tiers page. Prices chosen in the wizard are edited here.

Save your work Almost every block here is buffered locally — hit "Save Changes" in the header or at the bottom to persist. Leaving without saving loses the changes.

6. Courses

/manage/courses. All your courses appear as cards — thumbnail, title, level badge (beginner / intermediate / advanced), student count, module count, publish status.

Course list
Figure 6.1 Course list

Each card has these actions:

  • Preview — open the public-facing view
  • Enrollments — list of enrolled students
  • Curriculum — section/lesson editor
  • Landing — this course's own landing page
  • Cohort scheduling — set up batch start dates
  • Duplicate — clone

Cards can also carry review badges when a teacher created or edited the course: Awaiting review, Needs changes or Edits under review (see 24. Teachers, approvals & earnings). Such a course can't be published until it is approved.

6.1 Creating a new course

Click "+ New course" to open the create form at /manage/courses/create:

  1. Title — course name (required).
  2. Description — short pitch.
  3. Course type — bootcamp / workshop / self-paced.
  4. Included mentoring sessions — how many 1:1 sessions ship with this course.
  5. Pricing — Free toggle, otherwise prices in main + secondary currency.
  6. What students learn — bullet-like text of outcomes.
  7. Requirements — prerequisite knowledge.
  8. What's included — certificate, materials, etc.
New course form

After saving, the course is created in Draft mode.

6.2 Course landing editor

/manage/courses/[slug]/landing. Distinct from the community landing — this one is dedicated to a single course. The header carries three buttons: Curriculum, Preview, Save.

6.2.1 General Info

  • Title
  • URL slug — the path under /course/your-slug. Renaming breaks old links.
  • Description
  • Difficulty level — free text (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced)

6.2.2 Course images

  • Thumbnail — shown in lists and the marketplace. 16:9.
  • Instructor photo — square crop, used for the instructor card.

6.2.3 Background (hero) image

The big hero image at the top of the course landing.

6.2.4 Pricing & access

  • Free course toggle — flips this course to free.
  • Price (main currency)
  • Price (secondary currency) — appears only if you set one in Settings.
  • Course duration (days) — how long students get access; blank means unlimited.
  • Included sessions — number of mentoring sessions bundled in.

6.2.5 Curriculum context

  • What students learn
  • Requirements
  • What's included

6.2.6 FAQ & Custom sections

Same shape as the community landing — add FAQ entries, add content sections.

Course landing editor
Figure 6.3 Course landing editor
URL slug warning Changing the slug redirects the page to the new path automatically — on save you're sent to /c/your-slug/manage/courses/[new-slug]/landing — but any external links still point at the old slug.

6.3 Curriculum builder

/manage/courses/[slug]/curriculum. Click "Curriculum" on a course card. Structure:

  • Module / Section — a collapsible card that groups lessons.
  • Lesson — a video, article, quiz, assignment or live session.

6.3.1 Module (Section) card

For each module:

  • Top-right ↑ / ↓ chevrons to reorder (disabled at boundaries).
  • Module title — click to rename inline. Enter saves; Esc cancels.
  • "+ Add lesson" button — opens the Lesson editor.
  • Delete button — removes the module (with confirmation).
  • The lessons row list: icon (▶️ video, 📄 other), title, lesson ↑/↓ chevron, edit/delete on hover.

Empty modules show a "No lessons" placeholder.

6.3.2 Lesson editor modal

Creating or editing a lesson opens a modal that supports multiple content shapes:

  • Title — required.
  • Type dropdown — Lesson, Practice / Mock test, Assignment, Live (see 6.9 for practice / mock test lessons).
  • Media source dropdown — YouTube, Vimeo, Gumlet, Upload, or None.
  • Media ID / URL — placeholder changes based on the source (YouTube ID, Vimeo ID, upload URL).
  • Duration (minutes) — total length.
  • Sort order — position inside the module.
  • Priority dropdown — very high / high / medium / low.
  • Content textarea — extra notes / article body.
  • Is preview checkbox — if on, even non-paying members can watch this lesson. Great for marketing.

6.3.3 Video upload

When Media source is Upload, an upload section appears:

  • The current media_id is shown as a truncated link.
  • "Choose video file" button — pick a local file.
  • Upload progress shows inline.
  • Save is disabled until the upload finishes.

6.3.4 Attachments

At the bottom of the modal:

  • "+ Attach file" — upload a PDF, slide deck, code file.
  • Each attachment appears as a clickable download link.
  • Trash icon removes (with confirmation).
Curriculum editor — modules + lessons

Picking a video host
  • YouTube / Vimeo — simplest. Host externally, paste the ID.
  • Gumlet — pro option with DRM and adaptive streaming.
  • Upload — stored on the platform. Watch the storage quota.

6.4 Cohort / Batches

/manage/courses/[slug]/batches. A cohort is a batch with fixed start/end dates — different from self-paced courses, all students move through together.

6.4.1 Current batch

Highlighted at the top with a green border:

  • Enrolled count vs. capacity (e.g. 18 / 25).
  • Start / end dates.
  • Enrollment open / close window.
  • Edit / Close buttons.

6.4.2 Creating a new batch

  1. Name — optional. e.g. "Cohort 1 — Sept 2026".
  2. Max capacity — limit on student count.
  3. Starts at / Ends at — course duration.
  4. Enrollment opens at / closes at — sign-up window.
  5. Save.

6.4.3 All batches list

A stack of cards:

  • Status badge, color-coded:
    • Open — enrollment open (green)
    • Closed — enrollment closed, in session (neutral)
    • Completed — finished (primary)
    • Draft — not published (warning)
  • Batch number + optional name
  • Enrollment stats
  • Edit, Open/Reopen, Delete buttons

Deletion: only batches with zero enrollments can be deleted, and a two-step confirmation is required.

6.4.4 Waitlist

Once a batch hits capacity, users who try to enroll go on a waitlist card. Each row shows the user name and request date.

Cohort / Batches manager
Figure 6.6 Cohort / Batches manager

6.5 Enrollments

/manage/courses/[slug]/enrollments. A table of every student in this course.

6.5.1 Filter bar

  • Search — by name / email (debounced).
  • Status dropdown — Active / Pending payment / Expired / All.
  • Migrated dropdown — Migrated (imported from legacy) / Native / All.
  • Enrolled date preset — Today / Last 7 days / Last 30 days / This month / This year / All.
  • Expires date preset — same options.

6.5.2 Export to Excel

Top-right Export button downloads an XLSX with these columns:

  • User name, email
  • Status
  • Progress %
  • Enrolled at, expires at, completed at
  • Payment amount, currency, method, status
  • Migrated flag

6.5.3 Student card / row

Cards on mobile, single-row on desktop:

  • Avatar + name + Legacy badge (if migrated)
  • Color-coded status badge
  • Progress bar + % + completion date
  • Enrolled at, expires at
  • Payment info: status badge + amount + currency + method, or "No payment"

Pagination below. Empty state: icon + "No enrollments yet".

Enrollments — filter bar, export, student list
Figure 6.7 Enrollments — filter bar, export, student list

6.6 How course payments work

The buyer flow:

  1. Member clicks "Enroll" on the course landing.
  2. They see your enabled payment methods — bank transfer, QPay, Stripe.
  3. QPay / Stripe — instantly confirmed; enrollment activates.
  4. Bank transfer — the member transfers the money and uploads a receipt. Status: Pending → goes to the Approvals tab for your review.
  5. After you Approve, the member is emailed and the course unlocks.

Cohort-specific:

  • If the enrollment window is closed, the "Enroll" button is disabled.
  • If capacity is hit, the user is offered the waitlist instead.
Tip The platform commission (10% on Advance) and Stripe/QPay fees come out of your revenue, not the buyer's. Factor that into your pricing.

6.7 Publish, duplicate, preview

  • Publish toggle on the card — makes the course public.
  • Duplicate — clone an existing course (curriculum + landing copied) as the seed for a new one.
  • Preview — open the public render. Unsaved changes aren't reflected.
Before your first publish Have at least one full module with one lesson ready. Marking 1–2 lessons Is preview lets prospects sample your teaching before they buy.

6.8 Ordering courses (▲▼)

When your community has more than one course, every card in the course list has ▲ (Move up) and ▼ (Move down) buttons on its left. Each click saves the new order immediately; members and visitors see the courses in this order.

  • Featured courses still show first. The course marked Feature on community feed (in the course's Website Design → General Info) leads the member and public lists; your manual order applies to everything after it.
  • Only owners and moderators can reorder. Teachers don't see the buttons, because they only see their own courses.

6.9 Lessons linked to a practice or mock test

  1. In the curriculum, add or edit a lesson and set Type to Practice / Mock test.
  2. In "Linked practice or mock test", search and pick the exercise (options are prefixed Practice · or Mock Test ·).
  3. Save the lesson.

Members see a card with an Open button in the lesson. Access and scoring follow the practice / mock test settings. The link also appears the other way round: the practice page lists the lessons that use it (Lesson · course), so a grammar exercise can point students back to the lesson that explains the rule.

7. News

/manage/news. This is the editor for your community's official announcements and articles. Each post appears as a card with cover thumbnail, title, draft/published badge, "Featured" badge, video indicator.

7.1 Writing a new post

  1. Click "+ New post".
  2. In the modal, fill in:
    • Title
    • Excerpt — short summary used on the news list
    • Body — rich-text editor (images, links, formatting)
    • Cover image
    • Featured video — YouTube / Vimeo URL
    • Tags — comma-separated
    • Featured — pin to top toggle
  3. Save as draft or Publish directly.
News list
Figure 7.1 News list

Figure 7.2 News editor modal

7.2 Actions

  • Edit — re-open the modal.
  • Publish / Unpublish toggle.
  • Preview — see the public-facing render.
  • Delete — destructive; confirms first.
Tip Publishing a news post can trigger an email to all members (if enabled in Settings). Avoid hitting Publish for trivial edits — it can come across as spam.

8. Channels

/manage/channels. The discussion channels of your community. Each row shows: icon, name, access type (community / course / group), permission badge (everyone / staff only), thread count.

8.1 Creating a channel

  1. Click "+ New channel".
  2. In the modal:
    • Channel name — e.g. #announcements.
    • Description — short purpose statement.
    • Icon — pick one of 60+ Lucide icons (search supported).
    • Access type — Community (everyone) / Course (only enrolled) / Group (specific member group).
    • Post permission — Everyone / Staff only.
    • Course / Group multi-select — appears based on access type.
    • Sort order — position in the sidebar list.
  3. Save.
Channel list + edit modal
Figure 8.1 Channel list + edit modal
Tip Start with 3–5 channels — announcements, general, help. Add more as the community grows. Too many empty channels feel dead.

9. Practice authoring

Plan requirement Practice (and Mock Test) is included on the Growth and Unite plans, not Advance. Upgrading from Advance turns it on automatically — see 2.2 Comparing the 3 plans.

/manage/practice. One of the platform's densest modules. This is where you build short, repeatable exercises for your students. 40+ types in groups: General, IELTS Specific, PTE Specific, Games, Memorize / Template, Flashcard and Study Material.

9.1 Overview & categories

The list view groups all your practice items by category. Each category shows:

  • Icon, name
  • Number of items inside
  • Collapse / expand control
  • Per-item: title, access badges, active/inactive status
  • Reorder buttons (↑ / ↓), edit, delete
Practice list grouped by category
Figure 9.1 Practice list grouped by category

9.1.1 Managing categories

Click "Categories" at the top to open a modal where you can add, edit or delete categories. Categories have two levels — sections (skills such as Speaking, shown as skill cards on the student's Practice hub) and subsections inside them. Each has a name and an icon.

9.1.2 Adding a new practice

Click "Add Practice" to go to /manage/practice/new. Fill in the common fields — Title, Language, Type, Category, Access (Community / Course / Member Group) and Active (visible to members) — and the editor then renders the form for that type. Most types support manual input, paste and Excel import (with Template / Excel / Export buttons). Many authoring labels inside the type forms are in Mongolian.

9.2 Flashcard

The simplest, most memorization-friendly type.

Use the Vocabulary card type for new decks (the older "Vocabulary (legacy)" flashcard still works). Vocabulary cards have Term (spoken aloud by TTS), Reading, Meaning, Note and an Example sentence with its reading and translation; Excel columns are A term, B reading, C meaning, D note, E example, F example reading, G example translation. Students automatically get the listen, Match Up, speak and (for Chinese/Japanese/Korean) writing modes.

Fields (legacy flashcard)

  • Title — overall name of this practice.
  • Cards:
    • Front text — one side (question / word)
    • Back text — other side (answer / definition)
    • Image upload (optional) — flashcard front image.
  • + Add card appends a new entry.
  • Excel import: an .xlsx template with Front and Back columns lets you mass-load cards.
Flashcard form — front/back text per card
Figure 9.2 Flashcard form — front/back text per card

9.3 Multiple Choice (single & multi)

Single Choice

  • Question title — optional.
  • Question text — required.
  • Options A–D — four answer texts.
  • Correct answer — radio select.
  • Explanation — text shown after the student answers.

Multi Choice

Same shape, but multiple correct answers allowed via checkboxes.

Multiple Choice form
Figure 9.3 Multiple Choice form

9.4 Listening types

Listening Multiple Choice

  • Audio URL — link to an audio file. If left empty, the platform uses TTS (text-to-speech).
  • Transcript — backing text (also the TTS source).
  • Question + 4 options + correct answer — same shape as MC.
  • Single and Multi-correct variants.

Listening Fill Blanks

  • Audio URL
  • Transcript — mark each blank inline as correct word.
  • Students listen, then type the correct word for each blank. After submitting they can show the transcript.
Listening MC and Listening Fill Blanks forms
Figure 9.4 Listening MC and Listening Fill Blanks forms

9.5 Fill Blanks types

Fill Blanks (drag)

  • Text with each blank written as correct word, e.g. The scientist discovered a new species near Antarctica.
  • Word bank (comma-separated) — the answer words plus optional distractors.
  • Students drag words into the blanks.

Fill Blanks (select)

Same idea, but each blank renders as a dropdown. Write the options as opt2|opt3 and pick which one is correct.

Rules for all three fill-in-the-blank types

  • At least 3 blanks per item. A counter under the text shows how many blanks you have and turns red below 3; saving is blocked with a message such as "item N must have at least 3 blanks". This applies to Fill Blanks (drag), Fill Blanks (select) and Listening Fill Blanks.
  • Optional explanation per blank. Open the collapsible "Тайлбар (заавал биш)" (Explanation, optional) section under the text and write, next to each answer, why it is correct (placeholder "Яагаад зөв бэ?"). The dropdown type has the field inline for each blank. Students see the explanation behind an ⓘ icon after they submit (not in mock tests).
Fill Blanks (drag / select) forms
Figure 9.5 Fill Blanks (drag / select) forms

9.6 Speaking types

All speaking exercises require the student's mic and are scored by AI (or reviewed manually).

Speaking (general)

  • Title
  • Prompt — the topic / question.
  • Instructions — short directions (optional).
  • Image — visual prompt (optional).

Describe Image

  • Image upload — required.
  • Optional prompt — extra instruction.
  • Students describe the image aloud for 30–60 seconds.

Retell Lecture

  • Audio URL + Transcript — the source lecture.
  • Expected keywords / concepts — used by the AI scorer.

Audio Response, Respond to Situation

  • Audio prompt + spoken student reply.
  • You can either upload audio or rely on TTS from the prompt text.
Speaking form (prompt + image)

Timed Writing form (prompt + time + scoring)
Figure 9.7 Timed Writing form (prompt + time + scoring)

9.8 Other types

  • Highlight Words — Sentence + comma-separated incorrect words. Students mark the wrong words with the cursor.
  • Highlight Correct Summary — Passage + several summary options; one is correct.
  • Select Missing Word — Sentence with one word missing + 4 choices.
  • Reorder Paragraphs — Scrambled paragraphs; students drag into order.
  • Template Game — Template sentence with placeholders students fill in.
  • PTE speaking / listening extras — Repeat Sentence, Summarize Spoken Text and the speaking types support the per-type AI scoring prompt (9.12).

9.9 Excel import

Almost every type supports Excel upload for mass authoring.

  1. In the form, switch to the Excel tab.
  2. Download the template .xlsx — the column headers tell you what goes where.
  3. Fill in your spreadsheet and upload it.
  4. A preview appears — bad rows are flagged red.
  5. Click Import to create all items at once.
Tip Before going Excel-heavy, author one or two items by hand to learn the shape. Then mass-import the rest — fastest way to build a deep library.

9.10 IELTS types

  • True / False / Not Given, Yes / No / Not Given, Matching (headings, information, features, endings, labelling), Completion (sentence, summary, note, table, flow-chart) and Short-Answer Questions — passage or recording plus questions, with word limits (e.g. "NO MORE THAN TWO WORDS AND/OR A NUMBER") and optional explanations.
  • Listening Part / Reading Passage — one recording or passage with several mixed question groups. The transcript is shown to students only after they finish, never in mock tests.
  • Writing Task 1 / 2 — scored by AI against the official criteria (0–100); you can add band sample answers.
  • Speaking Part 1 / 2 / 3 — interview, cue card (with preparation time) and discussion.

Each IELTS form shows an explainer box (in Mongolian) and supports Template / Excel / Export.

9.11 Poll, HTML games and study material

  • Poll (no correct answer) — optional tab title and case text, a question and answer options. A member's vote counts as completion and they see the percentage split.
  • HTML Game — pick a game from the catalog: Rocket Typer, Shagai, Breathing Pacer, Sound Bath, Flow Player, Grammar Blitz, Math Input, Character Lab, Hand Particle Sphere, Grammar Steppe, Step Solver, Graph Lab, Number Forge or Area Builder. Rocket Typer (word banks), Grammar Blitz (sentence with ___, options, rule) and Math Input (question, answer, unit, explanation) have a content editor with Excel import.
  • Study Material — upload a file or paste a link, with a title and description, for students to view or download.

9.12 AI scoring prompt

Writing, speaking and summarize types have an "AI Scoring Prompt" field — your own rubric for the AI grader. The Example box under it offers a ready prompt for the type (Copy or Use this). Scores are on a 0–100 scale and feedback is written in Mongolian. Students get a quick rule-based score for speaking tasks and can request the AI score with the "Score by AI" button; writing tasks are AI-scored on submit.

10. Mock Test authoring

Plan requirement Mock Test shares the same gate as Practice — included on Growth and Unite, not Advance. See 2.2 Comparing the 3 plans.

/manage/mock-test. A Mock Test is a timed exam built from your practice items, split into sections. The page has two tabs: Tests and Feedback requests.

10.1 Creating a test: settings and sections

  1. Click "Шинэ шалгалт" (New test). Enter the title, language and description.
  2. Choose the Test type:
    • Exam — fixed order and fixed content; every attempt sees the same test.
    • Self-test — shuffled and re-drawn on each attempt.
    • Advanced (Custom) — set Draw mode (Fixed / Per attempt) and Shuffle order yourself.
  3. Hide linked practices — members won't see those practices on their own, only inside this test.
  4. Allow audio replay — lets members replay recordings. Turn it off for a real-exam simulation where each recording plays once.
  5. Sections (Хэсгүүд) — add sections, each with a name and a time limit in seconds (default 1800 = 30 minutes). Students can't return to a finished section, and the next section starts when time runs out.
  6. Access — all members, course members or group members — and Active.

10.2 Pools: what each attempt contains

Expand a test to see its items panel. Content is added to each section as pools (Add pool):

  • Category — draws tasks at random from a practice category, up to the number you set.
  • Practice — draws tasks at random from one practice.
  • Pinned task — always includes one specific task in every attempt.

Set How many to draw? for each pool; the card shows Draws N and how many are available, and warns if you ask for more than exist. Preview shows a sample draw; Reroll re-draws a fixed test (members who haven't started will see the new set). With Per attempt drawing, every student and every retake gets a fresh set.

Mock Test list + items panel
Figure 10.1 Mock Test list + items panel
Tip The items you mix into a Mock Test must already exist in Practice. The test doesn't create new items — it draws from existing ones. You can also link a mock test to a course lesson (6.9).

10.3 Feedback requests

After finishing a test, students can click Request teacher feedback on their result page. Requests appear in the Feedback requests tab (status Waiting / Answered), and the Mock Test menu item shows a badge with the number waiting. Open a request to see the member's note, their answers, the AI feedback and the overall score, then write your feedback and click Send feedback. The student is notified and sees your reply on their result page.

Results of all attempts are in Practice analytics → Mock tests.

11. Live Events & Zoom integration

/manage/events. Live events, live classes and webinars are scheduled here.

11.1 Events list

The header carries:

  • "Notify members on publish" toggle — controls whether publishing fires a member notification.
  • "+ Create event" button.

Events render in a grid. Each card shows:

  • Thumbnail image (top-right)
  • Title plus badges:
    • Published / Draft
    • Free / Paid
    • LIVE — pulsing red (event currently streaming)
    • LiveKit — in-platform live stream
    • Recurrence type (Daily / Weekly / Monthly)
    • Cancelled badge (if cancelled)
  • Start time + date + access scope (course / group / public)
  • Actions: Edit, Publish/Unpublish, Cancel, Delete, Go live (for LiveKit), End live (while streaming)
  • Calendar dropdown — "Add to Google" / "Add to Apple"

11.2 Creating an event (Event editor)

  1. Click "+ Create event".
  2. Modal fields:
    • Title, Description
    • Event type — External URL (Zoom / Meet / Teams) or LiveKit (in-platform live stream)
    • Timezone
    • Access type — Public / Course / Group, with a course/group multi-select
    • Recurrence — None / Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Yearly
    • Start / end date & time
    • Thumbnail upload
    • Free / Paid toggle; if Paid: Cost, Currency, Max registrants

When recurrence is enabled, extra fields appear:

  • Repeat every N days/weeks/months/years
  • Weekly — pick "Every Monday/Tuesday/...".
  • End condition — End date or Count (after N occurrences).

11.2.2 LiveKit streaming

When Event type is LiveKit:

  • Close to start time, the "Go live" button activates.
  • Click it to start streaming — members can join immediately.
  • While live, an "End live" button shows.
  • Recording is saved automatically if configured.

Recurrence configuration block
Figure 11.3 Recurrence configuration block

11.3 Zoom integration

For events, paste your Zoom / Meet / Teams link into Meeting URL (meeting type External URL), or choose LiveKit (built-in video) and start the session with Go Live. Zoom links are not generated automatically for events.

Automatic Zoom links are used for mentoring sessions. The Zoom and Google Calendar connections are on the Mentors page:

  • Zoom workspace — connect once for the whole community with a Zoom Server-to-Server OAuth app (Account ID, Client ID, Client Secret, Host email). Every mentor's confirmed booking then gets a meeting link.
  • Connect Zoom — a mentor connects their own Zoom account; after approving in Zoom they land on a "Zoom connected" page. Links are created when a booking is confirmed.
  • Google Calendar — a mentor's busy times block their availability and bookings are added to their calendar.

Event recordings: upload a video (MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM, AVI or MKV, up to 1 GB — deleted automatically after 14 days) or paste a recording link in the event editor.

Zoom integration connect screen
Figure 11.2 Zoom integration connect screen

11.4 Cancel vs Delete

  • Cancel — the event stays in the list with a "Cancelled" badge. Members can be notified. Recording + registrations preserved.
  • Delete — wipes the record. Irreversible.
Video choice
  • LiveKit — in-platform stream; members watch directly in app/web.
  • Zoom (mentoring) — automatic meeting links for booked sessions.
  • External URL — Google Meet, Teams, manual Zoom links. The most flexible.

12. Mentors

/manage/mentors. Two sections.

12.1 Mentor roster — managing mentors

Beyond yourself, you can promote any staff member to a mentor.

Add / invite mentor form

  1. Click "+ Add mentor".
  2. Form fields:
    • Select staff member — pick from existing members (or invite by email).
    • Session duration — 30 / 45 / 60 minutes, etc.
    • Pricing — per-session price (main + secondary currency).
    • Timezone — the mentor's timezone.
    • Title — e.g. Senior Engineer.
    • Bio — short intro.
    • Expertise — areas of focus.
    • Portrait upload — mentor photo.
  3. Save.

The roster grid shows: avatar, name, price, session length, timezone, availability indicator. Edit + Delete buttons per mentor.

12.2 Personal mentor profile

If you're also a mentor, the cards below appear:

12.2.1 Profile Summary

  • Name, bio, title, company
  • LinkedIn URL
  • Years of experience
  • Portrait photo
  • Expertise / specialization tags

12.2.2 Availability card

Your weekly availability as time blocks:

  • List view: "Monday 09:00 — 12:00", "Tuesday 14:00 — 18:00", etc.
  • + Add block opens a modal:
    • Day of week (Mon – Sun) dropdown
    • Start time
    • End time
  • Edit / Delete per block.
  • Auto-sorted by day, then time.

12.2.3 Blackout dates card

Block out specific date ranges to refuse bookings (holidays, vacation). Pick a date and time range to create a blackout.

12.2.4 Calendar integration

Sync with Google or Apple Calendar via OAuth — bookings appear directly in your personal calendar.

12.2.5 Zoom integration

Connect Zoom via OAuth so every session gets an auto-generated Zoom link. Same flow as in 11.3 Zoom integration.

12.2.6 Sessions card

All booked sessions. Per row:

  • Student name + avatar
  • Date, time, duration
  • Notes (left by the student)
  • Status badge — Pending / Confirmed / Completed
  • Confirm / Cancel buttons
Mentor cards (availability, sessions, integrations)
Figure 12.1 Mentor cards (availability, sessions, integrations)
Availability — add-block modal
Figure 12.2 Availability — add-block modal
Pricing and duration Session prices are denominated in the currency from the wizard / Settings. A single mentor can offer multiple session lengths (30 min, 60 min) at different prices. Calendar sync eliminates most booking conflicts.

13. Members

/manage/members. Organized into tabs:

  • All Members — searchable table with name, email, join date and last activity.
  • Group tabs — one per member group, showing who's in/out with toggles.

13.1 Searching / filtering

The search box at the top filters by name and email. Date filtering is supported.

13.2 Member actions

  • Add to / remove from a group (toggle)
  • Open profile
  • Send a direct message
  • Change role — Admin / Moderator / Teacher (Unite plan, see 24) / Member
  • Approve or decline pending applications (when membership requires approval)
  • Suspend / restore, open the member's Practice analytics, export the list to Excel
  • Remove from the community

13.3 Member groups

A modal lets you create / edit / delete groups:

  • Name
  • Description (optional)
Members table + group tabs
Figure 13.1 Members table + group tabs
Tip Use groups for cohorts ("Cohort 1 — Sept 2026"), tiers ("Premium subscribers"), or roles ("Volunteers"). You can then target channel posts, news, and email broadcasts to specific groups.

14. Membership pricing

/manage/membership. The membership settings you chose in the wizard live here for editing.

14.1 Free vs Paid

Top-level toggle. Flipping this after members have already joined is sensitive — it affects whether existing members are considered paid.

14.2 Pricing per billing period

For each period, a toggle + price input:

  • Monthly — most flexible, highest monthly cost.
  • Quarterly (3 months) — common discount tier.
  • Yearly — best retention, biggest discount.

Each period takes a main-currency price, plus a secondary-currency price if you've set one.

Membership pricing settings
Figure 14.1 Membership pricing settings
When you change pricing Raising prices doesn't affect members who are already subscribed (they keep their old rate). Only new members sign up at the new price.

15. Email & push broadcast

Community → Notifications / Email (/manage/emails). Three tabs: Send email, Email log (delivery log and campaigns) and Push log.

Email needs your own SMTP server Email broadcasts are sent through your community's own mail server — there is no fallback to the platform mailer. Until SMTP is set up the page shows "Broadcasts send through your own SMTP server — connect one to start sending." with a Set up SMTP button. Configure it under Settings → Email.

15.1 Fields

  • Channel — Email or Push notification (push needs no SMTP and reaches members who have the mobile app with notifications on).
  • Recipients — All Members, Course Enrolled, Group, or Paste Emails (paste addresses from Excel, separated by commas, spaces or new lines). Pasted addresses that don't belong to an account aren't checked against the unsubscribe list.
  • Subject
  • Message — rich text, or Upload HTML (up to 5 MB).
  • Send Broadcast — members who unsubscribed are skipped. Large sends are split into campaigns; continue them with Send next batch in the Email log.
Email broadcast tool
Figure 15.1 Email broadcast tool
Spam policy Every broadcast is recorded in the platform audit log. Sending promotional or abusive content can get your community suspended without warning.

16. Payments setup

/manage/payments. The most important page in the manage area — this is where you decide how members pay you. 4 tabs with a search box up top.

TabIconWhat it shows
Pending Approvals⏰Payments awaiting your review (usually bank transfers)
Paid Income✅Successful + refunded transactions, plus an income dashboard
Rejected❌Declined / errored transactions
Payment Methods⚙️Configure bank / QPay / Stripe

The search box at the top applies to every tab — name, email, transaction ID. Changing the query resets pagination to page 1.

16.1 Pending Approvals tab

Lists payments in "Pending" state. Cards on mobile, table on desktop.

16.1.1 What you see per transaction

  • Member avatar + name (clickable → profile)
  • Amount (formatted — e.g. 120,000 ₮)
  • Type badge — Course / Membership / Mentoring (payable_type)
  • Method badge — Bank / QPay / Card
  • Renewal badge — if this is a recurring renewal
  • Transaction date
  • Receipt link — the member's uploaded receipt screenshot, if provided
  • Approve / Reject buttons

16.1.2 Approve / Reject flow

  1. Open the receipt to inspect it.
  2. Verify the funds in your bank or QPay merchant dashboard.
  3. Approve opens a confirmation modal with an optional admin note.
  4. On Confirm:
    • Member is emailed automatically.
    • Course / membership unlocks for them.
    • Transaction moves to Paid Income.
  5. Reject takes a reason that's emailed to the member.
Approvals tab — pending payments
Figure 16.1 Approvals tab — pending payments

16.2 Paid Income tab — transactions + stats

All successful and refunded transactions. The top of the tab shows an income dashboard — this month vs. last month per currency, each in its own card (never summed across currencies).

16.3 Rejected tab

Failed transactions + reason. Useful for audit and maintenance.

16.4 Payment Methods tab

Every configured method is listed: method type, currency, active toggle, Edit button.

16.4.1 Adding a new method

"+ Add method" opens a modal:

  1. Method type dropdown — Bank transfer / QPay / Stripe.
  2. Currency — which currency this method handles.
  3. Based on the type, the appropriate form renders (see below).
  4. Save — if successful it appears in the list.

You can't have two methods with the same type + currency combination — duplicates raise an inline error.

16.5 Bank transfer setup

The Banking form supports two accounts, so you can offer different bank accounts for different currencies.

Account 1 (required)

  • Bank name — e.g. Khan Bank, TDB, Golomt.
  • Account name — holder's name.
  • Account number.
  • Branch — optional.

Account 2 (optional)

  • Currency dropdown — must differ from Account 1.
  • Bank name, account name, account number, branch — same shape.

When a member picks bank transfer they see your details and amount due, then upload a receipt screenshot. You confirm from the Approvals tab.

16.6 QPay setup

  1. Grab your Username, Password, and Invoice code from QPay.
  2. "Add method" → QPay.
  3. Paste the three values.
  4. Save — it appears in the list with an "Active" toggle.

QPay payments are auto-confirmed — they skip Approvals and land directly in Paid Income.

16.7 Stripe setup

  1. From your Stripe Dashboard, grab the Publishable key, Secret key, and Webhook secret.
  2. "Add method" → Stripe.
  3. Paste the three values.
  4. In Stripe Dashboard → Webhooks, add the endpoint URL shown here, selecting events like checkout.session.completed and payment_intent.succeeded.
  5. Save.

16.8 Activating / deactivating methods

Every method row has an Active toggle. Turning it off hides the method from buyers without erasing its configuration — flip it back on to re-enable without re-entering keys.

For maximum reach QPay — fastest for Mongolian members. Stripe — international cards. Bank transfer — traditional path, but approval work. Enabling all three gives the widest reach. With multiple currencies, you can configure a separate method per currency.

17. Vouchers

/manage/vouchers. Create and track discount codes.

17.1 New voucher

  1. Click "+ New voucher".
  2. In the modal:
    • Code — what users type at checkout (e.g. SUMMER25).
    • Type — Percentage (e.g. 25%) or Fixed (e.g. 10,000).
    • Amount — the discount value.
    • Max uses — leave blank for unlimited.
    • Course — restrict to one course or apply to all.
    • Expiry date.
    • Active toggle.
  3. Save.

Tip Mark reviewed means "I saw it and took action." Dismiss means "this report isn't valid." Either way, leaving an admin note helps future moderators understand what you did.

19. Testimonials moderation

/manage/testimonials. Moderate testimonials submitted by members.

  • Each testimonial appears as a card: author, 5-star rating, text, date.
  • Actions: Approve (publish to landing), Reject, Edit, Delete.
  • "+ Write testimonial" lets you author one yourself.
Testimonials moderation

20. Settings & plan

/manage/settings. A publish status card (Publish / Unpublish Community) sits above five tabs.

20.1 Plan

  • Subscription & Plan shows your current plan (Advance / Growth / Unite), the trial end date and the plan cards with a Monthly / Yearly toggle.
  • Choosing a higher plan opens a payment dialog (bank transfer, MNT). The platform activates the plan after verifying your payment.
  • If a trial or subscription has lapsed, a banner offers Renew now.

20.2 General

  • Academy Name, Category, Description
  • Billing & Currency — main and secondary currency

20.3 Features

On/off switches for each module (courses, practice, events, mentoring, shop, website builder, forms, AI agent, dictionary…). A switch locked by the platform admin shows "Disabled by platform admin". Turning a feature off hides its menu items for you and your members.

20.4 Email (SMTP)

Set up your own mail server for email broadcasts: tick "Use custom SMTP for outgoing mail" and fill in SMTP host, Port, Username, Password, Encryption (TLS / SSL / None), From address and From name, then Save SMTP settings. (This tab is shown in English only.) Broadcasts can't be sent without it — see 15.

20.5 Welcome email

Optionally send new members a custom welcome email: enable it and write the subject and HTML body. Use {member_name} and {community_name} as placeholders.

Settings page
Figure 20.1 Settings page

20.6 Domain and cancellation

Your address depends on the plan: Advance uses /c/your-slug, Growth a subdomain (your-slug.zerotohero.community) and Unite a custom domain. Custom domains are connected by the platform team — contact support with your domain. To cancel or change your subscription, contact the platform admin; member data is kept, and an unpublished community can be published again later.

21. Shop

Sell physical goods and digital products directly from your community, under Shop in the sidebar.

21.1 Products

  1. Go to Shop → Products and click "Add product".
  2. Choose a type: Physical good or Digital product.
    • Physical good — set stock quantity (or leave unlimited), and delivery method(s): courier delivery and/or pickup.
    • Digital product — no stock or delivery fields; buyers get access right after payment.
  3. Fill in name, category, and description.
  4. Set price (and an optional discounted price) per currency your community uses (e.g. AUD, MNT). Physical goods also have a delivery fee per currency.
  5. Click "Add product" to save — then upload the product image(s)/files, which only become available after the first save.

From the product list you can Publish/Unpublish, Edit, or Disable a product, and see live stock and units-sold counts.

Figure 21.1

Go to Shop → Products with a few products already created. Capture the full table.
Figure 21.2
Add product modal — type, category, description, stock/delivery, pricing per currency
Click "Add product". Capture the modal; if useful, take one screenshot with type = Physical good and one with Digital product, since the fields differ.

21.2 Orders

Go to Commerce → Orders to fulfill purchases (tabs To fulfill and All). Statuses: Pending review, Paid, Shipped, Delivered, Cancelled, Refunded. Use Mark as shipped (optionally with a tracking number, tracking link and note) and Mark as delivered; the buyer sees these in My orders. Digital products are available to download as soon as payment clears.

Members can buy several products at once using the shop cart; each product still appears in your orders list.

21.3 Product Q&A

Every product page has a public Questions & answers thread. You get a notification when a member asks a question; answer it right on the product page. Owners and moderators can delete any comment there. There is no separate moderation screen.

Tip Shop payments flow through the same rails as course payments — see 16. Payments setup for bank transfer / QPay / Stripe configuration and payout approvals.

22. Website builder — Pages & Menu

The Website group of the Manage menu has two items: Website, the editor for your pages and menu, and Brand (logo, images, colours — see 5. Brand). Every community has a home page in the editor. Extra pages and the menu need the website builder, which is on by default; if it has been turned off under Settings → Features, the editor shows the home page only.

22.1 Opening the website

Website takes you straight into the editor, on your home page. There is only one kind of home page: a page made of sections that you edit on the page itself. It is created automatically when the community is created, with your name and headline in the banner and live sections for courses, mentors, channels, feedback and news.

Run site setup again at the bottom of the Pages panel opens a three-step setup wizard:

  1. Look — pick one of five ready-made looks (Clean, Warm, Classic, Bold, Night). Each card previews your own community name and description.
  2. Basics — check the community name, a one-line description, the logo (saved as soon as it uploads) and the main colour.
  3. Pages — pages you already have are marked; tick any of About, Courses, Contact, Mentors, Shop and News you want added (the last four appear when those features are on). Click Apply.

The wizard applies the look, then creates and publishes only the pages that are missing and adds them to the menu (up to 8 items). It never changes or deletes pages you already have, and keeps your current home page. Courses, Mentors, Shop and News use the addresses all-courses, all-mentors, all-products and all-news.

22.2 Pages and menu panel

Click Pages at the top left of the editor to open the Pages and menu panel. The order of the list is the order of your site menu.

  • In the menu — pages and links shown in the navigation bar. Drag a row by its handle to reorder it, or drop a page into a dropdown to nest it. Up to 8 items per level; the counter shows how many are used.
  • Not in the menu — pages that exist but aren't linked. Click the eye to show a page in the menu; click it again on a menu row to hide it. Hiding never deletes the page.
  • Click a page to open it in the editor. Its "…" menu has Edit, Rename, Duplicate, Preview, Publish / Unpublish, Use as home page, Show / Hide from menu and Delete page. The home page can't be unpublished or deleted; to replace it, use Use as home page on another published page.
  • Rename changes the page title and its menu label together; the English menu label is optional and falls back to the Mongolian one.
  • Link adds an external link (optionally opened in a new tab); Dropdown adds a heading that holds a submenu. Click the pencil on these rows to edit their label and address.
  • Menu changes save automatically. A row with a missing label or address shows a warning and holds the save back until it's complete.

22.3 Creating pages

  1. In the panel, click New page.
  2. Enter a Page title and choose what to Start from — Community home, Course sales page, About, Services, Landing, Contact or Blank.
  3. Click Create page. The page is added to the end of the menu and opens in the editor as a draft.

If some default pages were deleted, "Restore default pages" at the bottom of the panel re-creates only the missing ones and appends them to the menu.

Note If the menu already has 8 items, a new page is still created but isn't added to the menu.

Pages and menu panel

22.4 The page editor and blocks

  • Type on the page. Click a headline, subtitle, button label, quote or section title and type over it. Press Enter (or click elsewhere) when you're done; empty lines show "Type here…". Everything else — images, links, lists of items, colours — is in the settings column on the right (a Section settings button on phones).
  • Add section — click the + under any section (or Add section at the end of the page) to open a gallery of section pictures, grouped as Top banner, Courses and community, Text and pictures, Reviews and numbers, Contact and sign-up and Other. Technical sections (Custom HTML, Embed, Form, Countdown, Tabs, Columns, Two text columns) appear under Show all or by searching.
  • Sections can be dragged by their handle to reorder, moved up/down, duplicated or removed, and placed inside Columns. Width, spacing, text size and background are under Advanced in a section's settings.
  • The phone / desktop buttons at the top switch the preview width at any screen size.
  • Page settings (shown when no section is selected) — title, URL slug, SEO (meta title, meta description, social share image) and whether the page is in the menu, with an Add to menu button if it isn't.

Saving and publishing

  • Your changes save automatically a moment after you stop typing, but visitors don't see them yet. A published page with saved-but-not-live edits shows an Unpublished changes badge, here and in the Pages panel.
  • Publish (top right) puts your changes live. If other pages also have unpublished changes, it shows a number and lists them first — Publish now puts them all live together. A page you took offline with Unpublish stays offline.
  • Discard changes in Page settings throws away the unpublished edits on that page and goes back to the version on your site.
  • Undo / Redo keep working after autosave, until you leave the page. Leaving or switching pages saves first.
  • Version history in Page settings lists the last 20 published versions of the page. Restore brings one back as unpublished changes — check it, then Publish (or Discard changes to undo the restore).
  • Reset to original, next to it, brings back the first version the page was ever published with — that version is kept for good, however many times you publish. Use it if a page gets broken beyond repair. Like any restore, it stays unpublished until you click Publish.

22.5 Style

The Style button in the editor's top bar sets the look of the whole site: a ready-made look in one click, or Theme, Main colour, Font and light or dark mode one by one. Changes show on the page while you choose and go live when you click Save; closing without saving discards them. These are the same settings as in Brand, so either place can change them.

Fonts and Mongolian The themes' own fonts have no Mongolian letters, so Mongolian text falls back to a system font. The four fonts in the list — Clean, Classic, Bold and Friendly — all include Cyrillic with Ө and Ү; pick one for a Mongolian site.

23. Course bundles

Learning → Bundles (/manage/bundles). A bundle groups existing courses and sells them together at one discounted price. Buyers who already own some of the courses keep them, and the rest are added to their library.

23.1 Creating a bundle

  1. Click "New bundle".
  2. Basics — Title (required), Description, and an optional Thumbnail. Without a thumbnail, a collage of the included courses is shown.
  3. Pricing — tick "Free bundle" or set the price in the main (and secondary) currency, with an optional sale price and Sale ends at date. A live summary shows the Sum of included courses, Your bundle price and how much the Buyer saves.
  4. Courses in this bundle — pick the courses. Only published, approved, open-enrolment courses can be bundled (cohort courses can't).
  5. Save, then Publish the bundle from the list.

23.2 Managing bundles

Each bundle card has Publish / Unpublish, Preview, Edit, Duplicate (creates an unpublished copy) and Delete. Deleting a bundle doesn't remove access from people who already bought it. Bundles appear to members in the Courses list, and vouchers can be used on them.

Note The bundle screens are currently shown in English even when the admin language is Mongolian.

24. Teachers, approvals & earnings

Plan requirement The teacher role, Teachers and Teacher Approvals are available on the Unite (enterprise) plan. On other plans the Members page shows an upgrade notice instead.

24.1 Making someone a teacher

  1. Go to Members, open the member's role menu and choose Teacher.
  2. In "Promote to Teacher", enter the Revenue share (%) — the percentage of their own course and mentoring sales the teacher keeps. You keep the rest.
  3. Click Promote.

Teachers see a reduced Manage menu: their own courses, bundles, practice, mock tests, mentors, homework and My Earnings.

24.2 Approving teachers' courses and mentor profiles

  • A course or mentor profile created by a teacher starts as Awaiting review and can't be published until approved. There is no separate submit button — saving submits it.
  • When a teacher edits an already-approved course, it stays live and is marked Edits under review.
  • Open Teacher Approvals to see everything waiting (tabs Courses and Mentors, badges New / Edited / Live now). Click Approve or Reject. Rejecting also unpublishes the item and marks it Needs changes; the teacher is notified either way.

24.3 Earnings and payouts

  • Each completed payment for a teacher's course, enrollment or mentoring session creates an earning = amount × the teacher's revenue share. It starts as Pending.
  • The Teachers page shows Total owed, the roster (including Former teachers who are still owed money) and each teacher's paid-to-date amount.
  • When you pay a teacher outside the platform, click Record payout: choose Full balance or enter the Amount paid, the currency (each currency is settled separately), How you paid (bank transfer, QPay, cash, other) and a note. Payouts settle the oldest earnings first; a partial amount leaves later earnings pending.
  • If a payment is refunded, its pending earning is cancelled.
  • Teachers follow their own figures under My Earnings — Pending, Paid out, earnings history and payout history.

25. Homework & task plans

Community → Homework (/manage/tasks) lets you and your teachers set tasks that appear on the student's planner (Calendar → My planner, with reminders in the mobile app).

25.1 Assigning homework

  1. Click "Assign task".
  2. Pick one student or a whole class — each student gets their own copy and a notification.
  3. Enter the Task, Due date, optional Time and a Reminder (minutes before; needs a time).

The list can be filtered by Pending / Completed / All and Only mine. Only the person who assigned a task (or an admin) can Withdraw it.

25.2 Task plans

The Task plans tab stores reusable study schedules (e.g. "PTE 22-day prep").

  1. Click New plan, give it a title, description and visibility (Shared with all staff or Private to you).
  2. Download template (CSV) or Fill in an example, then paste your schedule from Sheets/Excel — one row per day, one column per task — and click Apply paste.
  3. To use a plan, click "From plan…" on the Homework tab, choose a Start date (day 1 of the plan) and the students. Every cell becomes a dated task on their planner.

Deleting a plan keeps the tasks that were already applied.

26. Analytics

26.1 Community analytics

Analytics (/manage/analytics) has three tabs: General (joins, daily activity, broadcasts, payments), Member overview and Members. The member tabs are visible to the owner and admins only. Choose a From/To date range; member analytics can be searched by name or email and exported to Excel.

26.2 Practice analytics

Learning → Practice analytics shows how students are doing.

  • Overview — tasks reached, accuracy, average score, daily activity, results by practice type, AI criteria averages (weakest first) and results by deck. Filter by category, type and dates; Export Excel.
  • Students — one row per student with decks, tasks attempted, average score, XP and last active. Click a student to open their own page with a deck-by-deck breakdown, mock-test history and an Excel export. You can also open it from Members → Practice analytics.
  • Mock tests — per test: completed attempts, students, average overall score and score distribution; per student: latest, best and number of attempts, with Review.

Students see a simplified version of the same statistics under My analytics in the Practice hub.

27. AI Agent & connectors

Plan requirement The AI agent is available on Growth and Unite (it is off on Advance). It can be turned on or off under Settings → Features.

27.1 Setting up the AI agent

Open Community → AI Agent and click "Create agent". Members then see AI Assistant in their sidebar.

  • Identity — Name, Who can chat with it (All members / Staff only), Who can use it (community, course or member group), Short description, Greeting, Role and tone, and Extra instructions (house rules, when to hand off to a moderator).
  • Knowledge mode — Community content only, or Expert tutor (also answers from general subject knowledge; enter the subject of expertise).
  • Knowledge sources — choose what it may read: courses, preview lessons, posts, discussions, site pages, events, mentors, products, home page & FAQ, and your own documents. Only content a signed-in member could already open is used — paid lessons, drafts and private channels are never indexed. Text you put in Documents is not access-checked, so only add what any member may read.
  • Exact answers — question/answer pairs that always take priority.
  • Limits — messages per member per day and per conversation (empty = default, 0 = unlimited). The community also has a monthly message allowance, shown under Messages this month.

After publishing new content, click "Rebuild knowledge" (it also rebuilds automatically every night). Delete agent removes its knowledge and all conversations.

27.2 AI Inbox

AI Inbox lists every conversation members had with the assistant. You can Pause assistant / Resume assistant on a thread, or type your own reply with Send reply — replying pauses the assistant on that thread, and the member sees your message as a staff reply.

27.3 Connectors (Growth / Unite)

Settings → Connectors lets an AI client such as Claude work with your community through scoped, revocable access: read your content, create news posts as unpublished drafts, create events, and post in threads on your behalf. Use Connect in one click or Manual setup (generate a token — it is shown only once). Revoke a connection at any time from the active list.

28. Affiliate program

Plan requirement The affiliate program is available on the Growth and Unite plans. On Advance, Affiliates isn't in the menu and no commissions are earned. If you move down to Advance, you can still pay what you already owe from /manage/affiliates.

Members share their personal referral links. When someone who signed up through a member's link makes their first purchase in your community, your community owes that member (the affiliate) a commission at your rate. You pay affiliates yourself, outside the platform, and record it here. Open Affiliates in the Manage menu (/manage/affiliates). Only you and your admins can open it; moderators can't.

28.1 How commissions work

  • Who earns: the member whose invite link brought the buyer into your community, even if the buyer already had an account. If nobody invited them, whoever referred them to the platform. Only invites from active members of your community count, and only when the person clicks Join on the web.
  • One per referred member: on their first completed purchase in your community — a course, membership, event, mentoring session, product or bundle, paid by QPay, Stripe or an approved bank transfer. Later purchases by the same member earn nothing more.
  • Amount: what the member paid (after vouchers) × the affiliate's rate, in the currency they paid in. Each currency is settled separately.
  • Not for your own team: you and your admins never earn commission in your community. Moderators and teachers can.
  • Never counted: your plan payments to the platform, and Apple in-app purchases.
  • Rate changes apply to purchases from then on. Commissions already owed keep the rate they were earned at.

28.2 Setting your rate

  1. Enter your Commission rate (0–100%) and click Save. It starts at 0%, which means the program is off.
  2. To give one person a different rate, click Set rate on their row, or Add custom rate to choose any member. A custom 0% excludes that person; Use community rate removes a custom rate.

The list shows everyone who referred one of your members, has earned commission here, or has a custom rate, with their rate (Default or Custom), how many members they referred and how many of those bought here, commission or not. You and your admins are listed too, so you can see how many of the people you brought in bought; you earn 0% here.

Figure 28.1
Affiliates page — commission rate, total owed, affiliate list, payout history
Go to Affiliates on a Growth or Unite community with a rate saved and at least one affiliate listed. Capture from the two top cards down to the first rows of the list.

28.3 Paying affiliates

  1. Total owed shows what you owe affiliates, per currency. Each row shows what you owe that person and what you've paid them so far.
  2. Pay the affiliate yourself — bank transfer, QPay, cash or another way. Their bank details are shown in the payout window while you owe them something.
  3. Click Record payout, choose the currency if they're owed in more than one, How you paid and an optional note, then confirm. This marks everything you owe them in that currency as paid. The amount is the exact total and can't be edited.
  4. The payment appears under Payout history, and on the affiliate's own Referrals page as paid.

28.4 Refunds

  • Refund a payment in Payments before you've paid its commission, and the commission is cancelled. That member's next purchase can then earn a new one.
  • If you had already paid the commission, it stays paid; the platform doesn't take it back from the affiliate.
  • A partial refund cancels the whole commission. Refunds made outside the system (in the Stripe dashboard, or money sent back by bank) don't change the commission, so adjust what you pay by hand.
Note Affiliates aren't notified automatically yet when they earn a commission or when you record a payout. Let them know when you've paid.

29. FAQ & support

29.1 Frequently asked questions

Q: I finished the wizard but my community isn't visible in the marketplace.

A: Newly created communities are in Draft mode. Finish the Onboarding checklist on the Overview page, then click "Publish".

Q: Can I change my URL slug?

A: The slug can't be edited in Settings. Contact the platform admin — and remember that existing links to the old slug will break.

Q: What commission does the platform take?

A: 10% on Advance and 3% on Growth — both currently waived until 2027. 0% commission on Unite. On top of that, Stripe / QPay charge their own fees.

Q: How do I upload course videos?

A: Paste a YouTube, Vimeo or Gumlet link into the lesson, or choose Upload (file) to upload the video to the platform (it is converted to protected streaming). Slides, HTML files and attachments are supported too.

Q: Will I be charged automatically when the trial ends?

A: No card is charged automatically. You get a reminder email 3 days before the trial ends; to keep going, choose a plan under Settings → Plan and pay. If you don't, the community moves to past due and shows a Renew now banner.

Q: My email broadcast won't send.

A: Email broadcasts need your own SMTP server — set it up under Settings → Email. Push notifications work without SMTP.

Q: I deleted the default website pages. Can I get them back?

A: Yes — click Restore default pages at the bottom of the Pages and menu panel (22.3). Only the missing pages are re-created.

Q: A member paid but their course didn't unlock.

A: Check the Approvals tab first. QPay and Stripe should confirm instantly; bank transfers need a manual Approve.

Q: What happens if I hit my email broadcast quota?

A: The send is split into campaigns. Continue it with Send next batch in the Email log. Higher plans have bigger daily allowances.

29.2 Getting help

  • Direct-message the platform admin — /me/messages
  • Help Center — link in the marketplace footer
  • Email — support@zerotohero.community
  • Member manual — user-manual-en.html
Note This manual evolves with the platform. Always check the Help Center for the latest version.
